The 9th Anita Open Charity Ski Race: A Giant Slalom and a Huge Success!
The 9th Annual Anita Open Charity Ski Race was, once again, an unforgettable event: good weather and lots of longtime friends, joined by new participants, all coming together to enjoy a fantastic celebration in the snow to support childhood cancer research and improve pediatric palliative care.
165 people joined us this year to take part in this now almost legendary sporting and charitable event, where we raised a total of €6,296.60—thanks also to the “Dorsal 0” donations from those who were unable to attend. As always, this amount has been allocated in its entirety to research and the improvement of supportive therapies for children and teenagers pediatric palliative care.
Both the good weather and high spirits were on our side during a race that was as exciting as it was competitive, with excellent and memorable downhill times for all participants, whether on skis or snowboards. Congratulations to the winners!
As usual, it was another year set against the spectacular backdrop of the slopes at Font Romeu Pyrénées 2000, with the unwavering support of the Olimpia Ger Ski Club, which once again handled all the technical organization of the race. Thank you to both of you for your loyalty and commitment to making this event something of a legend in La Cerdanya.
Thank you, DJ Juan Amigo, for always keeping us company with your music throughout the event over the years!
And continuing with tradition, we’d also like to thank all our corporate sponsors for their generosity. Their product donations make it possible to hold, after the race, the exciting and eagerly anticipated raffle with extraordinary prizes that bring great joy to the winners, as well as those who help us provide a delicious and energizing “Welcome Pack” breakfast to all participants.
A huge thank you to the participants, volunteers, and sponsors for making this race an unforgettable event—once again this year.
Let's keep going… LET'S GO FOR THE TENTH TITLE!!!!!!
